Volunteer Opportunities

Festival Malaysia is a student run event aimed to promote Malaysia and its diverse cultures to the International community. It started in 2006 and is similar to the Malaysian Fest annually hosted by Malaysian students from Sydney. This event is organized by Malaysian students around Victoria with the collaboration of Vision Malaysia and Malaysian Student Council of Australia (MASCA), Victoria and other student clubs.

Other than being able to network with a lot of people from all around Victoria, you could stand a chance to learn more about the cultures of Malaysia, be it from learning how to play the congkak, design inai on your hands or even the traditional dances of the Kadazan group.

Grab this opportunity to represent Malaysia in front of the International community and show that you are proud to introduce Malaysia as your country. Whats even better is that you get to walk out of the experience with a letter of recommendation to beautify your resume.

It doesn't matter if you walk in without any knowledge, what's important is that you get to go out of the experience with a new perspective on Malaysia and Malaysians in Victoria.
